BIJA Projects

The FWBO is one of the largest Buddhist communities in the West, with some 80 centres on 4 continents, including many in India. Besides Buddhist centres members of the Order and others are involved in many different projects including social work, translations, youth work, the arts – all the many dimensions across which the Dharma is meeting and interacting with the modern world.

New centres and projects are appearing all the time; this page highlights some currently appealing for funds. You will find a fuller list of ongoing projects, and more background material, at FWBO Developments external link. There’s maps of most FWBO centres and groups worldwide on FWBO Photos external link.

Each project listed here will soon have its own fundraising page where you'll be able to just click on any of them to find out more and contribute… Your donation will then be sent to the Indrajala Trust (for projects in the UK and India) or to FWBO Dhammaloka (for projects in India), and transferred from there to the project itself.
